AS923 Region Device Connectivity Issue
Summary: Between 4/13-4/14/2025, devices in the AS923 region experienced intermittent connectivity issues due to throttling at the Azure IoT Hub level. This impacted message delivery and device availability for some customers. Root Cause: An underlying throttling condition in Azure IoT Hub led to degraded performance for the AS923 region. The issue caused connection instability for a subset of devices. Resolution: We mitigated the issue by allocating additional resources to the region. Connectivity was restored and stabilized. Preventive Measures: We’ve implemented more granular and region-specific alerting to detect similar issues early and ensure faster resolution moving forward. Status: Resolved and monitored.
